Since 2000 Fitzmaurice Performance has been helping softball players run faster, build strength and power, hit harder and get injured less with their integrated injury prevention and strength and conditioning program. Over the past two decades Fitz has developed a long list of many of the top players in the St. Louis Metro area. These players include high school standouts, college recruits and college players. Training Program Options: 

1. Private Personal Training 

2. Semi Private Personal Training

3. Group Training 

4. Team Training 

Group Training Schedule: 

Monday-Friday: 3, 4, 5 and 6 pm

Saturday: 9, 10 and 11 am.

*Athlete must be 12u to participate. 

Training Session Highlights:

  • Prehab: mobility and stability exercise to reduce common softball injuries in the ankles, knees, shoulder and back.

  • Stretching: to improve range of motion, movement quality and reduce injury. 

  • Movement Skills & Drills: to improve rhythm, coordination and improve athleticism. 

  • Foot Quickness & Agility Training: to increase foot speed, reaction and change of direction ability to improve game speed. 

  • Linear Speed Training: to improve biomechanics and increase acceleration and top end speed

  • Plyometric Training: to improve explosive power for running faster and reducing injury potential. 

  • Strength Training: to build strength and muscle muscle mass to increase performance. 

  • Core Training: to stabilize the back and hips to prevent injury and improve rotation force production to hit harder. 

  • Conditioning: to build endurance and stamina to prevent fatigue during competition.
